Due to a confluence of reasons, Hinge has been dissolved as a company as of June 2025.
We attempted to bring the Passive House system to more jobsites in our region thru a panelization service that just was not financially adept fast enough for us to remain viable. Though we still deeply believe that uniformity and panelization in our industry holds the key to better built and cost-effective homes, we could not make this particular venture work out at this time.
The failure to achieve this lofty goal of “Passive House for Everyone”, has caused us to shutter Hinge entirely.
We want to thank all our cusotmers, suppliers and partners over the years that have helped us make the Passive House ideals a reality for our industry. We are very sad to see the end of Hinge as a company but will continue to work to make buildings better and more affordable through our continued work and other ventures.
