OATFIELD ROAD PASSIVE HOUSE

This is one of those projects that did not get built, but we really wished had.

We worked for a couple years on and off with this family of 8 to help them get into a great home on a very steep, corner lot that they owned. The site had a lot of restrictions and the very steep grade made building an affordable home a challange.

We put together a fantastic design that suited their family just the way they wanted. We used clean organic architectural forms to keep the costs down and the quality up. In the end I think we created some really great spaces for their larger than most family.

Sadly, just as the project was getting ready to break ground, interest rates creeped up and some other uncontrollable issues made this opportunity fade for now.

We hope that soon they can come back to this project and build this dream home soon!

The three story home has a forested view and a great deck for the family to enjoy thier permaculture landscape.
